I am a Deans Research Doctoral Fellow and a Chan Zuckerberg Fellow, pursuing a PhD in Research, Measurement, and Statistics at Georgia State University. Aiming to leverage measurement designs to improve Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion focused cross-cultural educational assessment applications, my research delves into Psychometric Measurement Equity and Assessment Fairness. I specialize in examining the implementation and validation of the global consistency of psychometric measurements, international large-scale tests, and formative assessments, and in turn, exploring their potential influences on student learning outcomes to minimize cross-cultural discrimination between the developed and least-developed countries. I am a passionate advocate of psychometric research and interested in building up a career in the Psychometric and Educational Data Science areas to create a sustainable impact on the learning practice through equitable assessment applications, especially for least-developed countries. Furthermore, I possess a proven track record of effective leadership in academic and industrial domains. Notably, my leadership roles at the American Educational Research Association, where I held positions such as Chair and Co-chair of the Division D Graduate Student Committee and Senior Graduate Representative for the Classroom Assessment SIG, were instrumental in fostering the development of upcoming educational researchers. With over 5 years of professional engagement as an Educational Development Practitioner in Bangladesh, my career has spanned diverse areas, including humanitarian development, underprivileged childrens education, curriculum material development, outreach initiatives, continuing education programs, faculty development initiatives, and program evaluation. I actively contribute as a Reviewer for scholarly papers, a Facilitator for workshops/seminars, and a Conference Organizer within esteemed international educational organizations. Through an integrated and holistic approach, I have honed leadership qualities to tackle diverse challenges efficiently. My commitment to continuous learning and growth remains a central pillar in my strategy for personal development amidst the evolving landscape of globalization.
