RJ Podeschi is Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Millikin University and also serves as Director of the Tabor School of Business Undergraduate Programs. Prior to his full-time faculty appointment, RJ served his alma mater for 11 years in a variety of information technology roles, primarily building and maintaining enterprise databases and administrative systems. The majority of his I.T. experience revolves around Oracle database administration and enterprise reporting. Previously, he has owned a local I.T. consulting company with two other partners serving the technology needs of small businesses in the Central Illinois area. RJs passion for the classroom and student learning came out of his work as an adjunct for Millikin two years prior to earning his full-time teaching post. RJ received his bachelors in Management Information Systems from Millikin in 2002 and his MBA from Millikin in 2004. He also serves as a director at a local credit union and is active in the finances and ministries of his home church. RJs hobbies include running, playing tennis & golf, cooking, and travelling. I am energized by having the ability to share my real-world experiences with students and tie it into the theoretical material has made learning relevant to students. Through hands-on, practical experience with client projects in the community, It is my hope that students gain the skills and confidence they need when entering the professional IT market upon graduation. I'm committed to the Decatur area by serving in the following capacity: Board of Directors, Staley Credit Union, Finance Chair, Sharon United Methodist Church and Race Director for Penguin in the Park 5K,
