I am a journalism student, additionally studying psychology and gender & sexuality studies, strongly interested in areas of social justice and gender equality. I hope to be able to make a difference through investigative journalism in women's rights and shed light on the various issues caused by systematic oppression of females as well as the LGBTQ+ community. Literate in print (breaking, general, feature, Wall Street Journal style), video, photo, and social media journalism.

Editorial Assistant Intern at Roger Williams University

As an editorial assistant intern in the Marketing & Communications department, I have many responsibilities. I conduct interviews with RWU students, faculty, and staff and write feature-style articles on them to be published online at PDQ@RWU. I conduct background research on possible story ideas for the RWU Magazine and President's Report, as well as for daily event calendars. I copy-edit and proofread drafts of the RWU Magazine and President's Report as well. In addition to writing feature stories, I also write and conduct interviews for hard news articles for PDQ.
