Started working as a Youth Service Worker in the impatient ICFID program helping kids with anxiety, trauma, depression, behavioral issues, and other mental health issues as well as helping with intellectual barriers. My job included helping with ADLs, IPPS/ISPs, PIPs, processing with kids, teaching coping skills, as well as making sure things on shift run smoothly and correctly, all while keeping the kiddos and staff safe. I have demonstrated critical thinking skills, leadership, and planning. I enjoyed the implementation of IPPs and other trauma-informed care practices as well as planning recreational activities.
