Samantha Ronci

Hi! My name is Samantha Ronci! College education was something I always wanted, but never quite imagined myself achieving that goal. In 2015, I was in a severe accident that changed my life and learning capabilities forever. I had endured a subdural hematoma on my brain, something that didn't affect me until later in life. When I began my studies at North Kingstown High School, I realized my head injury was beginning to affect my education. My academics suffered for a while, until I took it upon myself to learn in ways in which I never knew were possible. I had to begin using my other senses to remember what I was learning and use every resource in my power to study. When I was accepted to RWU, my life changed again. I was finally able to soar academically, get involved on campus, meet new people and fall in love with my university. I am so proud of the person my injury & the rest of my past has shaped me to become! Currently, I run my own 501c3 nonprofit organization, Sami's Sendoffs, and although I hope to continue that, in the future I hope to begin a career in Federal Prosecution and continue to change the world around me.
