Sammy Shams

Majored in Architecture
Georgia Institute of Technology, Class of 2016
From Palm Coast, FL
After 4 years at the University of Florida I have had the opportunity to experience many possible career paths and meet a diverse group of people. My career goal is to find a place in architecture, where I can employ my strengths of creativity and problem solving. Currently, I am enrolled in the 3.5 year Master of Architecture program at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. On May 1st, 2015 I will earn my M.Arch degree with a specialization in Healthcare Design. In fall 2015, I will begin the Master of Science in Architecture program at Georgia Tech with a concentration in High Performance Buildings. This 33 credit hour curriculum will enable me to effectively infuse sustainable strategies and tactics into building design using energy modeling tools and construction methods.
