Sharon Armstrong

I am a native Georgian. I grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. I graduated from Redan High School in 1986, worked for a while, married, and started a family. I started college at the age of 27 to earn an associate's degree in dental hygiene. I have had a fulfilling career as a dental hygienist for the last 26 years. I am married, with four adult children and seven grandchildren. I have had a long-standing dream and passion to care for and serve the elderly population. Ideally, I would love to start a personal care home of my own or work in an assisted living home in an administrative position; therefore, I decided to return to school to obtain a higher degree that will allow me to start a new career working with the aging population.
