Sarah Boecker

Sarah is the current SGA President at WPI, functioning as a manger of the senate as well as an external voice for the student body. She has been serving the Worcester Polytechnic Institute student body since her freshman year when she was elected as a senator. She joined senate as a member of the Committee on Academic Improvements (CAI) and worked on multiple projects to improve academic resources for students at WPI. She co-led and brought structure to a joint-committee between SGA and SocComm centered on reducing over-programming on campus, as well as served as the chairperson of CAI during her sophomore year. As a chair, she guided other senators through their own projects and sat on a faculty committee for academic policy decisions. Her goals for the next senate include continuing long-term SGA initiatives that align with WPIs Strategic Plan, increasing senates productivity, and building stronger relationships with the student body as well as the different administrative offices on campus.
