The Savage Poetry Award recipient is chosen for a poem submitted to a blind reading. The poem is then published in Bloomsburg University's literary and art journal, Warren. My poem, "Nowhere" received this recognition.

I worked with another student as co-editor of BU's art and literary journal, Warren. We organized a review panel who helped us select which pieces to include and we designed the whole thing. It was a lot of fun and also a lot of very rewarding work.

25th Annual Virgina Woolf Conference Organizer at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania
The help I provided in organizing this conference included keeping track of when and where all participants were arriving and departing, special dietary needs, merchandise orders, and a variety of other topics. This was my first conference and I met a wide array of wonderful people. It has encouraged me to participate in other conferences.
