The goal of Curious Writers is to promote public understanding of the role of appropriate animal models in biomedical research by providing students with the opportunity to interview biomedical researchers about animal model research. Student writers will compose a series of well-written, concise, creative blog articles, each of which makes a compelling case for using animals in biomedical research to benefit people and/or animals.

Our goal is to promote access to children's and young adult books--and authors! Whether you're a book reviewer trying to find a home for extra review copies, a teacher looking to augment your classroom library, or a school librarian trying to get authors to visit your school, we're here to help you find resources both online and offline. Want to put books into the hands of deserving kids? There are so many ways to help, many of them local and non-profit efforts. Currently, this site focuses on national efforts and resources.
