Being the Secretary of NHS, many volunteer activities were ran, and the annual NHS Induction was planned and coordinated. Many fundraisers were ran as well.

Marching Band

As Drum Major, Sara was able to conduct the band during performances both at DHS and out of state on the annual band field trip. Sara also led the band in their march for the Memorial Day Parade.

Sara was in the pit/orchestra for all four of her high schoo'ls musical productions, which included "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "The Wizard of Oz," "The Sound of Music," and "Cinderella." She was the clarinet section leader for all four years.

Class Officer

As Corresponding Secretary, Sara communicated between the Class of 2015 and her fellow Class Officers and advisor, to start fundraisers and fun events that would benefit both the Class of 2015 as well as DHS. Sara also started multiple fundraising events throughout this club, such as collecting donations for Christmas gifts that were given to children at the local hospital, and also raising money to donate to a homeless organization in her hometown.

Competed at Regional and State Competitions for four years, and organized fundraisers for the club, such as Depew High School's annual car show. Sara was exposed to various fields of business due to her participation in this club, and learned many helpful professional skills that will benefit her later in her professional life.

Sara rotated between the positions of first and second doubles, as well as third singles. She participated in ECIC's twice, and during the 2014-2015 season, she was co-captain of the team. In the 2014-2015 season the team remained undefeated.

Tennis Instructor at Cheektowaga Town Parks Youth and Recreation

Sara was a tennis instructor during the summer, and taught various age groups the basic skills of tennis, as well as how to have fun while playing a competitive sport.
