Sara Silva
An honor-roll college student who spent many years of her life outside of her home country experiencing different cultures and languages. Hardworking and reliable, she graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a degree in Communications in the Social Media Marketing/Management concentration. She's currently working as a graduate assistant for the Men's Basketball team at Georgia State University, working as a sports creative and developing content for their social media platforms.

Beyond the Physical: Student-Athletes’ Struggle with Mental Health
For my senior year in college, I finally decided that I wanted to continue working with sports media. As one of my passions is storytelling, I wanted to be able to address issues that would give a voice to those that might not always be able to speak for themselves. For this project, I interviewed three basketball players from Toccoa Falls College and we had a discussion about mental health and what us, as support staff, can do to encourage and be there for them.
