Assure Nursing Standards of practice are maintained throughout the Heath Care Facility at multiple practice sites including: Acute Care Facility, Patient Clinic’s and 566 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility. Develop and articulate the vision and strategic plan of the Nursing Department to the staff of 800 + Full time and PerDiem equivalents. This plan coincides with the Mission of the Hospital and assures successful attainment of facility goals. Assure Nursing practice standards are in compliance with NYS DOH regulations and JCAHO standards and maintain an evidence based approach. Participate in Hospital Board and Senior Leadership steering committees. Work collaboratively with Interdisciplinary stakeholders to assure Facility success. Worked to develop partnerships with Nursing Schools to establish MCH as training site in conjunction with its mission as a teaching facility. Work Collaboratively with Medical Director to assure successes of Geriatric Fellowship program. Establish budget targets and assure quality care with measurable outcomes is achieved in a cost efficient manner.
