February, 04 2022 - Verified by Georgia Southern UniversityAs a Student Assistant within the Office of Admissions, I am tasked with roles and responsibilities of managing the front desk phones and guests, creating and organizing materials for events, and assisting with any project, event, or task assigned to better serve the Office of Admissions.
Working with first-year students, I provide an extra resource, role model, and referral for FYE classes geared toward first-year students at Georgia Southern University. I manage a small group within the class, prepare and give recitation sessions, assist in grading and communication, and help students when needed. I also have opportunities to work with the Eagle Experience team and their events and promote the Peer Leader program.
