Sylvia Dearman

I am a senior looking for a hospitality-related job. I am more so interested in event planning and management. When applying for a major, I thought of what I liked doing, and helping people was the main goal. I currently spend most of my days at church as the pianist. I have played piano since I was about four years old and currently am taking lessons on improvisation. I regularly play three days of the week and also practice with the choir to prepare a special performance every Sunday morning service. I recently played for a wedding in April 2016 for the first time. Piano is something I can see myself doing for the rest of my life. I also spent over a year volunteering at Victory World Church's cafe regularly each week. I have a love for the arts. I put together a 12-piece concentration for AP Drawing&Painting back in my senior year of high school. I still also have a desire to utilize my art skills. As a fun fact, I enjoy gaming and creating designs in my free time.
