Hello! My name is Shaniah Canterbury. I am a student of Loganville High School who dual enrolls through Georgia State University. I was born and raised in Guyana, the only English speaking country in South America, but I migrated to the United States in 2019. I am a conversant in Spanish, French and Portuguese and have been on multiple immersion trips to study foreign languages. After graduating high school, I plan on majoring in either Biomedical Engineering or Bio-Chemistry in college. My career goal for the future is to become a surgeon and travel to various countries through the non-governmental organization, Mdecins Sans Frontires (Doctors Without Borders), to help those in need.
