Sharifa Kato is a student at Biola University who is highly intersted in the field of Clinical Psychology. Her interests lie in psychological researches paticulary studying mental healh in developing countries. Born and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Sharifa is interested in facilitating the development of a working mental healthcare system in sub-Saharan Africa, paticulary in Eastern Africa. Sharifa is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Biola University - she intends to continue onto graduate school, whereby her research skills would be enhanced in prepation of establishing her goal of creating a better and working mental healthcare system in Tanzania.
