From Phoenixville, Pa.
I am a devoted student nurse at Alvernia University for three years. I have achieved successful clinical experiences throughout the five semester period at different clinical settings. Through my clinical learning experience, I learned to plan and organize nursing skills based on critical thinking and utilizing evidence based practice. I also learned that collaborating with other health care team members along with an effective communication is an essential element to deliver a quality and safe patient care. My focus of practice in nursing is to provide safety for patients and to prevent adverse effects. I am enthusiastic to work at a place where allow me to utilize my nursing skills for professional growth.
Short term goal: To pass NCLEX exam, work at a Medical and Surgical unit to improve my fundamental nursing skills.
Long term goal: To continue higher education in order to expand nursing knowledge and to become a Gerontological Nursing Practitioner to provide an optimal and safe care for elderly patients.
