I am currently a Junior majoring in Biology. I recently transferred from University of Iowa to Elmira College last Winter 2020. I am currently in the EAP Program with Lake Erie College of Medicine. I am currently involved in job-shadowing and volunteering and am applying for research. I have always had the passion to pursue a career in the medical field. I am a huge soccer enthusiast. I also love Italian food.

I was an executive board member for University of Iowa's Muslim Student Association. I played a big role in creating social opportunities for my fellow peers. During my time on the board, it was a COVID semester, so my role played a big role in ensuring my fellow classmates had some sort of social activity during a difficult time for everyone.

Iowa Youth Congress

During my time in High School, I was apart of the Iowa Youth Congress. Each year we would have yearly meetings in our area to discuss important issues we would like to change in our state. We worked together to create Bills, which in the spring of that school year we would take to the rest of our fellow congress members and discuss whether or not we would like to pass to bill.

Muslim Community of Quad Cities Volunteer

I volunteered at my local Mosque for Sunday School teaching and helping our local community in general. In the Summer of 2020, my family and I created a food drive to provide food weekly for the homeless in our area. Every Sunday we made breakfast and lunch meal bags and would deliver them Monday morning.

LECOM MSA Volunteer

During the semester of Fall 2021, I helped volunteer with Professor Dr. Qadeer and LECOM Elmira MSA with a local coat drive. We collected coats for a few weeks then set-up a tent in WEIS Market parking lot. Anyone who came was able to pick a coat for free.
