Serve as board member for a non-profit organization which employs developmentally delayed adults who may not be able to work in an average workplace setting. Quantum Industries, a subsidiary of Coastal Center for Developmental Services, also strives to be at the forefront of workplace integration for those individuals they serve. I have served as the Vice-President and Secretary in the past.

As the owner of a small business I was responsible for all aspects of the shop. I handled personnel, class scheduling, teaching (sewing, quilting, software, children), marketing, expansion and eventing. During this time I established Tybee TIme, a weekend retreat for sewing and fellowship which I ran for 4 years prior to closing the shop to pursue my graduate degree. I also created unique t-shirt/clothing quilts for clients.
