Sumeet Kothare

I will have completed my undergraduate career in May 2018 with double degrees in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and Economics along with minors in Computer Science and Chemistry. I was awarded the Undergraduate Science and Engineering Research Scholarship at the University of Delaware in 2015 and have been named on the University of Delaware's Dean's List for five semesters for my consistent and tenacious performance during my undergraduate career. I have also had the opportunity to present my undergraduate research work at two Science and Engineering symposiums at the University. My strength lies in my versatility, adaptability, and tenacity; I have honed these attributes through my multidisciplinary experiences in Life Science Strategy and Market Analysis at the Merck Group (EMD) in India, Statistical Process Control at Jotun commercial paint manufacturing, and in heterogeneous catalyst structure optimization at the UD Catalytic Center for Science and Technology. Additionally, University project experiences and my leadership experience as a Resident Assistant Mentor have helped me adapt and contribute effectively to multifunctional projects and teams during my Undergraduate Career. I enjoy traveling, am fascinated by learning languages, and am eager to explore new skills such as Swing Dance and Classical Piano.
