Sabrina Burress
In 2007 I completed my BS in Psychology and then completed an Master's of Arts in Human Services In 2011. I am now working on a second Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, in order to become a licensed counselor (LPC). Below is my last summary, updated circa 2011. I am leaving it here both for myself and as verifiable evidence that goal setting can change your life in ways you may never have expected!
"Ultimately, I would like to work as a change agent, a social activiits, a community catalyst.......as the public servant, of servants! I have just recently set this goal into play by accepting a position with my current company. And have quickly set to making that goal a reality. In the long-term my hope is to be accepted as an intellectual being, being able to add value to the organization for which I am (or will be employed) and not as just another staff member. When I was a child I appreciated Martin Luther King Jr. for his passion, commitment, and eventual success. I admired him for the finess with which is convince so much of the country to follow suit!"
" Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it. "
