Work Experience

Student Worker at Miami University Equestrian Center

• Provided care for up to 50 horses through feeding, watering, grooming, bathing, turn-out, and bring-in of the horses. • Ensured stalls were cleaned and re-bedded properly. • Assisted in making sure the pastures were properly fed and watered for the turn-out of horses. • Monitored supplies and provided barn maintenance by sweeping, taking out the trash, restocking the bathrooms, washing any laundry, and notifying full-time staff and supervisors of any issues, such as broken or missing supplies. • Volunteered to assist student in the KNH Horseback riding classes in need of help.
