National Honor Society

A member of NHS since sophomore year and was appointed to Project Manager junior year. Duties included organizing service projects and fundraisers, plus contacting companies and organizations for proper materials and coverage. Appointed as President for senior year. As President, one must speak at multiple ceremonies, plan, organize and run meetings and oversee other officers and members.

Future Business Leaders of America

Was an active member of FBLA, participated in many service and fundraising projects. Also attended multiple district conferences and placed fourth in Business Calculations and third in Business Communication. I attended the state-wide conference and placed ninth in Business Communication. Additionally, I wrote to local businesses to raise funding for the state conference, and was only one of two students from my school to attend. We received sufficient funding from my letters, and went for free!
