I am a creative & passionate individual who enjoys working on real world business strategies and designing tailored business solutions to help achieve goals, with a love for numbers and the challenge of understanding the story a firm's financial statements have to say. I am a Master of Science in Quantitative and Computational Finance Candidate at Georgia Tech beginning from Fall 2016 with a background in Economics and Engineering and experience in Business Management, Corporate Finance and Risk Management. Throughout my career journey so far, I have developed and utilised my analytical/quantitative & computational skills as well as the following skills: Analytical Skills: Developed and deployed through extensive internships/work commitments/projects focussed towards finance at: -SADP Pvt. Ltd. as a Manager in the Finance and Costing Department. -Masters Thesis at Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani on "Markov Process Application to Credit Risk Migration". -Deutsche Bank in Credit Risk Department as part of the Global Credit Rating Team focussing on Financial Institutions, Sovereign, Sub-Sovereigns in North America & Europe. -Deloitte in Financial Advisory LOS while working in the Corporate Finance Division focussing on Mergers & Acquisitions in the Indian economy. Leadership Skills: -Unanimously elected as Senator from the Scheller college of Business for the Graduate Student Government Association. -Core Member of BITS Logistics Team that organises the annual inter-collegiate sports festival of BITS comprising 20+ events, with an annual footfall of 2500+ participants from 80+ colleges from India and abroad. - Also acted as Panel Coordinator where I was required to lead a team of 15 individuals while being the single point of contact between the logistics, scheduling, registration and troubleshooting teams.
