Receive and direct calls to correct team, take messages when teams are not available, ensure the safety of our patients by having each guest sign in and manage the doors while welcoming and directing any and every guest to the room they need and answering any questions they may have. I also help direct EMS to the correct rooms when the arrive.

As a PCT I helped the nurse care of our patients in bathing, bed changes, nutritional help, and vitals. As the unit clerk, I helped place new orders and stayed on top of the incoming orders for the patients on the floor, I also help handle any calls from family members, physicians, or other healthcare facilities and departments. As well as admitted and discharged patients and helped in the process of setting up travel to skilled nursing facilities or home by working with the hospital liaisons and EMS.
