Sydnee has been a member of UCA's Japanese Club since enrolling at the university. She is committed to learning more about the culture and language of Japan.
Supplemental Instruction Leader at University of Central Arkansas

Sydnee is responsible for attending introductory Psychology classes with students, planning for two sessions a week, and meeting with students for two hours per week to go over the content covered in class. This helps students develop study skills and create bonds with their peers while also fostering a better understanding of the content.

Classroom Teacher at Kidspiration Pediatric Therapy Services

Sydnee is a seasonal worker for Kidspiration, working 40 hours a week in the summer and over Christmas break. Here, she works in classrooms of up to 20 children aged 0-6, who are accepted to the daycare due to some physical or mental delays. Sydnee is responsible for the health and safety of these children for the eight hours that they are in attendance.

Vortex Magazine of Literature and Fine Art: Fall 2023 Online Edition
Three of Sydnee's poems were published in this issue of Vortex, which uses an anonymous judging system to select the works that it publishes. These poems were titled "Wild Jasmine," "When You Meet The Moon," and "Soggy Streetlights." They can be found respectively on pages 39, 53, and 55 of the publication.

Arkansas WITS Magazine
Sydnee's first publication was in the fall term of 9th grade, and it was titled "My Eyes Are Going Bad." This poem was created under the supervision of two employees of Arkansas WITS, and it was selected from a group of about 80 students who submitted work for the magazine.
