I directly supervise 40 residents and, when on duty, the entire dorm. I am responsible for organizing multiple interactive and informational programs for the residents. For example, I have arranged a laundry magnet program, a non-alcoholic Super Bowl Party, a resume building workshop, and a friend's "Palentines Day" gathering. I also mediate room conflicts when disagreements arise between residents and attend weekly team meetings.
Lifeguard, clean, and maintain the Williams-Brice Pool which is a six-lane, 25-yard lap pool with an additional zero-entry shallow pool. Swim lesson instructor teaching all skill levels from learning to float and put their face in the water up to improving strokes. Age ranges from 3-year-olds to 14-year-olds.
Supervisor and Lifeguard at the North Arundel Aquatic Center, an indoor public county pool which includes two sections: one side being a waterpark with two slides and water features, the other side being an 8-lane, 25-yard lap pool. Supervisor duties include working the front desk, overseeing lifeguards, and making sure the facility is in working order. Swim lesson instructor teaching all skill levels from learning to float and put their face in the water up to improving strokes. Ages range from 3-year-olds to adults. I work during the summer and whenever I am home on breaks.
