Tara Ray

I live in Somerset, Kentucky, with my husband, Michael and my children, Jaxson (15), Izzy (11), and Hogan (7). My husband and I have been married for 19 years, and he works as a third-generation partner in his family's business, TeamModern. I graduated with a bachelor of arts in psychology from Transylvania University in 2004. After college, I worked for one year for the American Cancer Society, with which I had an extensive volunteer history with the Relay for Life, before becoming a stay-at-home wife and mother. After 13 years at home, I decided to return to school for my master of arts in clinical mental health counseling at University of the Cumberlands. I am in my final semester of clinicals, working at LifeSprings Christ-Centered Psychological Services. I absolutely love my clients and everyone who works at the practice, and I'm excited for my future there. I have also earned a certificate in the Foundations of Christian Counseling from the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF), a branch of the Westminster Theological Seminary.
