I am a senior at the University of New Hampshire studying Social Work and Spanish. I have experience with teaching English as a Second Language, and I currently hold a job and as well as a volunteer position as an ESL tutor. I enjoy learning new languages by traveling. I recently studied abroad in Costa Rica, where I spent time taking classes and volunteering. Some of my passions include culture, increasing resources for low income areas, and anything to do with the ocean. I hope to gain more experience in the social work profession through internships and work opportunities.

Volunteer at Freedom Café Durham
The Freedom Café It is a nonprofit, donation based tea and coffee shop which supports organizations working to end human trafficking and slavery. It provides training and education programs for all volunteers regarding various human rights issues. We have also worked with the UN to bring in a GIFT box, a visual display to raise awareness of human trafficking and slavery on the UNH campus.
