Taylor Bies

At my high school, during the last semester of senior year all seniors that have maintained a certain GPA and met other requirements are able to embark on a senior internship experience. We are all required to spend at least 4-5 hours per week day working closely at our jobs. I interned for Shelley Cooper, a clinical therapist located in Stamford, CT. I learned a lot about the field of work, as well as what life is like outside the doors of Wilton High. It was an extremely valuable experience in order to adequately transition from high school life into college life.

As a cashier at the Village Market, located in the town center of Wilton, CT, I was given many responsibilities. I was expected to know where various items were located around the store, as well as how to work different machinery around the store.
