My current role involves effective communication of performance expectations to suppliers, monitoring metrics for evaluation, executing complex purchase agreements, managing vendor relationships, and maximizing cost-efficiency through strategic procurement processes. I play a key part in supporting our strategic contracting team by contracting both in production and out of production high impact vendor proprietary spares parts. Additionally, I contribute to our overall cost savings by managing spares part price catalogs utilizing spares discount pricing previously established production contracts.
In previous roles, I successfully managed and supported new build and repair orders for diverse military branches, addressing shipping discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. As a Supply Chain Specialist, I resolved shipping grievances, maintained SLAs, and stayed updated on program changes. Earlier, as a Transaction/Procurement Specialist contracted at Boeing, I served as a single point of contact for program escalations and inquiries, demonstrating strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
My skill set includes strong negotiation skills, supplier management expertise, and a keen understanding of procurement processes. I am proficient in utilizing order management tools, including SAP, NWP, Compass Contracts, SQIS, GOLD, CAV, SCARS, and WAWF. With a customer-centric approach and a dedication to exceeding expectations, I have the ability to consistently contribute to the success of any organizations procurement operations.
