The purpose of the Human Resources Digital Recruitment Intern is to assist the HR Recruiter to use social media to recruit and retain candidates for North Central Group's 29 different hotel properties throughout the Midwest and Phoenix.
Responsibilities Include:
• Updating job ads and job posting announcements
• Managing and posting all job postings
• Researching and suggesting viable digital recruiting sources
• Assisting the HR Recruiter with planning and attending career fairs
• Utilizing the following digital platforms for recruiting:
- LinkedIn: Coordinate and track job posts, search for candidates, prompt connections, track and follow up with pending and accepted connections, initiate conversations about open positions, and forward applicants to the appropriate job requisition
- Twitter: Coordinate and track all job postings
- Facebook: Coordinate and track all job postings for North Central Group Facebook page, as well as each properties’ Facebook page, monitor comments and respond to recruitment inquiries
- Craigslist: Coordinate and track all job postings
• Assisting with staffing and onboarding for new hotel openings and acquired hotels
Digital Recruitment Intern Job Requirements
• Current student working towards a degree in Human Resources or related field
• 4-year degree students who are in their junior or senior year or recent graduates
• 2-year degree students who have completed at least one full year of courses or recent graduates
• Some general human resources experience
• Strong knowledge and familiarity with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other related platforms

Under the direction of the Campus Recruiter, Olivia Rush, the Campus Program Coordinator will work directly with the Campus Recruiter and Recruiting Specialist responsible for the campus client area. I will be involved in projects and tasks related to sourcing, screening and the selection of external intern candidates. This position will give myself the opportunity to gain practical experiences on various Campus Recruiting functions and projects, as well as to develop a broad understanding of CUNA Mutual Group’s Human Resources organization.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform administrative duties as requested to include scanning and managing resumes, scheduling interviews, managing career fair kits, maintaining candidate records, etc.
• Generate, track and report metrics
• Assist in planning intern events and scheduling career fair attendance
• Attend career fairs and networking events representing CUNA Mutual Group
• Assist client areas with projects as needed in relation to the campus program
• Post and manage job descriptions promoting CUNA Mutual Group and career/internship opportunities
Job Requirements:
• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• Good technical skills including Word and Excel
• Strong communication skills: verbal and written
• Has demonstrated initiative, academic excellence and leadership skills
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently, with direction, and as part of a team
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills
