Mohammad Abu Thaher Chowdhury

My birthplace is Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is a beautiful district in my home country and has recently been declared to have the most fresh air compared to other districts in Bangladesh. Furthermore, the language spoken by the Sylheti people is one of the almost extinct Sylheti languages (its written form is known as Nagri). I graduated from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) with a bachelor's degree in physics in 2013 (exam:2015; due to political turmoil), and a master's degree in physics in 2015 (exam:2017). In 2022, I completed a second master's degree in physics at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). In addition to learning and researching, I like going on hikes, kayaking trips, and vacations to historic and scenic locations. When it comes to games, some of my favorites are pool, carrom, football (USA version: Soccer), and chess.
