Activities

Esports Club

I was the team captain of the eSports Club's League of Legends team for the 2018 Collegiate Star League Season. For most of the team members, this was the first time ever competing on a team for the game, including me. We finished the regular season 4-3 and went on to playoffs. We made it to the third round of playoffs, where we were finally taken down only by the top-tournament-seeded team. Our first 2 games were solid 2-0 victories (each is a best of 3). The team was mentioned both in Slippery Rock University's newspaper and in the Butler Eagle paper. I was interviewed for both of these papers, as well. I was also the Secretary.

A Peculiar Astral Beauty: Planetary Nebulae

I did a poster project for an astronomy course I took in Spring 2018. It was put on display at the Symposium for Student Research, Scholarship and Creative Achievement. I did it on planetary nebulae, which are beautiful expanses of gas left over when a small star dies.
