Timothy Fenton

Over the summers of 2016 and 2017, I participated in Capuchin Youth and Family Ministries' (CYFM) Capuchin Appalachian Mission (CAM). CAM is a week long mission trip to Harlan County, KY. To prepare for the mission I had to run fundraisers. Both years I ran a collection at my church, and in 2016 I was able to raise the most money of any of the 85 participants. In 2016 I was part of the Outreach ministry, supplying the people of Harlan with much needed clothes and cleaning supplies. In 2017 I was part of a manual labor group; I worked on two different homes in Harlan that year. At one house we reinsulated the foundation, installed stairs to the front door and back door, installed a new back door, and built a deck where there was a sliding door. This gave the family access to the home once again. At the second house I installed vinyl siding to protect the previously exposed wood of the house.
