Tesina Tu was recognized for earning an academic award
In Fall 2023, I won the 1st Prize of the Begining Level at the Korean Speech Contest.
I spent a month with my Korean language professor to prepare for this contest, and it was my first time giving a speech and speaking to the public in Korean. This is a big challenge for me, and I am grateful I didn't give up this opportunity.

I have been a member of Taiwanese Student Association (TSA) since my freshmen year. In my second year at UB, I was elected to be the secretary of TSA, and this is my second semester to collaborate with other Eboard members in TSA. My responsibilities are coming up with event ideas, tracking other members' working status, and keeping in touch with other clubs for further cooperation opportunities. I am happy to be an Eboard because it gives me the right to make my ideas to be achieved, and it also gives me opportunities to connect with other clubs and learn about their culture.
