FMP

I was apart of Adlai E. Stevenson's Freshman Mentor Program (FMP) for two years where I was a mentor to two different classes of 25 freshman for half of their lunch. This mentorship time, called advisory, took place over the course of the entire year where my fellow FMPs and I would help the new freshmen transition from middle school, meet other students their age, learn the guidelines of Stevenson, and much more.

Training

Stevenson had a student athletic training program that I was apart of for three years. In this program, I worked with three to four certified athletic trainers and peers in various sports of all levels. These sports ranged from boys football to girls field hockey to boys/girls wrestling to boys/girls water polo. At each of these sporting events as well as after school, I learned a variety of athletic training techniques such as ankle taping, first aid, and oxygen administration. Through this program I also became American Red Cross CPRO, First Aid, and Oxygen certified.
