For research that I conducted over the summer with Dr. Heller, I was awarded the CURCA student of the week. For our research, Dr. Heller and I, along with two students and two professors, conducted a feasibility study for a child care center on or around Siena's campus. A child care center on Siena's campus would allow for parents in the Siena community and in the surrounding community to have access to affordable and quality child care. It would also allow for research, job, and internship opportunities for students. From the research that we collected, we are creating a formal proposal.
