Trevor LaClair

I am passionate about wildlife and outdoor interpretation. My goal is to promote conservation through education. My mission is to build a sense of fascination and passion for wildlife while educating people about the natural world. I have given multiple presentations to a variety of people from kids to adults in both classrooms and at large outdoor events. My interest in natural history has motivated me to learn more about wildlife, outdoor adventures, primitive living, and this planets unique biotic and abiotic systems. I am a successful educator because I continue to improve as a naturalist so I can continue teaching other people. I enjoy working with wildlife. I have spent five years volunteering in zoos and another three years volunteering at wildlife sanctuaries. The animals I'm most interested in are nature's giants, deadliest, and carnivores. I plan on attending Graduate school to receive my Master's degree in Biology. Combining my passion for wildlife and taste for adventure, I plan to use media to teach people about wildlife as I travel the world exploring various wildernesses. I am certified to scuba dive and enjoy backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, and wildlife photography and filmmaking.
