August, 28 2017 - Verified by Fort Lewis CollegePassive acoustic monitoring of bowhead whales in the Chukchi Sea. This was a summer internship with JISAO in Seattle, WA where I was able to work with NOAA in the Marine Mammal Labs.
I was apart of the FOCCUS grant. I worked with a professor (Dr. Vanderbilt) in a group research project. We had to find Mercury deposition in Juniper trees in the San Juan County area from local power plant areas.
