I am currently a housekeeper at the Marriott, my job duties involve getting rooms cleaned and prepared for the guest. As a housekeeper I mainly work alone to get a task done within a timely manner. Though I mainly work alone, many people depend on me. The clerks at the front desk depend on me to get rooms cleaned efficiently and quickly so they can assign the room to a guest. Guest depend on me to properly clean there rooms, and they trust me with their belongings. I enjoy being part of the reason a guest enjoys their stay and comes back to the Marriott.

I have been working at Hy-vee for approximately four years now. This place has impacted my life in many ways. I have had the opportunity to work with many different people, in many different situations. I have not only worked as a cashier but I am trained and can work in just about every department within the store. I have most experience in Customer Service, where I worked for 2 years. In customer service, I was required to answer approximately 20-30 phone calls per shift, cash checks, return items for customers, and many other duties. While at Hy-vee I have had many opportunities to work in a team environment and make personal connections with both co-workers and customers, which is what I enjoy most about my job.
