Terri Taylor

Hi, I'm Terri. I'm a first-generation college student and a Sophomore at Kean University. I graduated from South Brunswick High school with a 3.5 GPA. My Major is Elementary Education TSD K-6\5-8 with a content area of English Writing. My Minor is Africana Studies. I chose this major because I could make a strong connection with the students because I have a learning disability. So I'll be able to help figure out solutions and make it easier for the students to succeed during their educational journey. Many students with a Disability feel they can't do as much as others. But having a learning disability only makes you more unique and more substantial, a goal I want students who come to me to understand. I'm also a content creator. I have a youtube channel. I love to express myself by creating videos to share with other people. I enjoy listening to music, and music always keeps me happy. I also always try to carry good vibes no matter the situation; without good vibes, my life would be a train wreck. Meeting new people is another thing I like to do occasionally. I try to put myself out there and just be myself. This semester I became more involved. Some organizations I'm a part of are the Pan-African Student Union, Tommrow's Teachers, Jumpstart, EOF, CCN, and more.
