June, 22 2017 - Verified by Georgia Institute of TechnologyTasked with the creation of a functional Sustainability Plan for the City of Woodstock. This includes establishing a baseline of measurable performance metrics, conducting a greenhouse gas inventory, hosting community engagement sessions, and authoring the Plan itself.
Along with this project, I help the City of Woodstock achieve the Platinum certification for the Atlanta Regional Commission's Green Communities program. This includes the documentation of current activities, the implementation of new measures, and the application process.
Affiliated Atlanta with the Bee City USA program, including drafting a resolution that unanimously passed on the first read. With a fellow GT intern, created the pilot run of the Atlanta Seed Library program, the Bee City USA - Atlanta's inaugural project. Created the story board, scouted for, and co-directed the 5 televised video shorts that promoted the aforementioned program. Defined the role of the multi-sector Bee City USA - Atlanta council and eventually was elected at one of the first co-chairs.
Besides that project, I managed multiple professional social media accounts via various platforms. Also, I helped with the development of the Atlanta Sustainability Student Council. Eventually, I was elected as Communications Chairs, and I participate in the network's activities to this day.
