I had the opportunity to attend The Tower Awards and receive a Silver Sustained Award due to my academic performance. The Tower Awards is an annual celebration that honors all underrepresented students and their academic achievements.

Position: Secretary Participated actively in weekly meetings along the E-Board to discuss updates and identify upcoming priorities. Created, edited, and distributed the weekly SHPE newsletter to +300 members containing important announcements, open opportunities, and activities to increase engagement and participation. Managed and led a team of 8 BODs to organize +10 events per semester focusing on culture, academic, and philanthropy development. Reached out to vendors, and funding, and worked with other organizations to organize the overall logistics of the Taste of Latin America (TLA), the largest event on campus with over 700+ attendees held every spring to celebrate and foster Latin American culture. Contacted corporate and campus sponsors to grow our partnerships and obtain funding for our events, securing over $5000 to impact underprivileged communities.
