I have also landed different internships since my freshman year, most importantly at Goldman Sachs for the summer of 2024. Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)
Position: Secretary Participated actively in weekly meetings along the E-Board to discuss updates and identify upcoming priorities. Created, edited, and distributed the weekly SHPE newsletter to +300 members containing important announcements, open opportunities, and activities to increase engagement and participation. Managed and led a team of 8 BODs to organize +10 events per semester focusing on culture, academic, and philanthropy development. Reached out to vendors, and funding, and worked with other organizations to organize the overall logistics of the Taste of Latin America (TLA), the largest event on campus with over 700+ attendees held every spring to celebrate and foster Latin American culture. Contacted corporate and campus sponsors to grow our partnerships and obtain funding for our events, securing over $5000 to impact underprivileged communities.
Data Input and Manipulation Project
• Performed the concept of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) with CSV, HTML, and JSON files larger than 3MB to analyze the relation between successful players and their traits and which elements convert into success in the field. • Applied different Python tools such as Beautiful Soup, Pandas, CSV files, JSON, HTML, API, Numpy, and Regex as techniques to manipulate data to turn it into meaningful insights and make data-driven decisions.
