Vivian Alistair Dsilva

I am a graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, I am extremely passionate about new emerging technologies in Computer Networking. As a graduate student, I have been able to take coursework according to my interest and learnt about each layer of the TCP/IP protocol stack in depth. The course on 'Computer Networks' gave insights on new and emerging technologies in Computer Networks like Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Virtualization and also discussions on Net Neutrality and Data privacy. Currently, I am pursuing Advanced Operating Systems which will give a systems level understanding of the implementation of the Network Protocol Stack. This course also has projects on Multithreaded programming, Remote Procedure Calls and Distributed File Systems all in C. Also, the course on Network Security will equip me with tools and skills needed to avoid Security breaches and also understand the various vulnerabilities in a Computer Network.
