I work the Little Yosemite Valley Corridor. I check Half dome permits, wilderness permits, educate visitors in Leave No Trace, Wildfires, and food storage. My day to day duties are always changing and exciting! My day can quickly change from checking permits to operate on Search and Rescues! I have had the opportunity to work some interesting SARS including getting to help land the NPS 551 helicopter on sub-dome and searching for lost hikers at 1 am on Half-Dome.
