The truly great aspect of chemical engineering is its extraordinary versatility. I have been very fortunate during my time at Clarkson to study with some of the top professors in the field and also to engage in meaningful work in their respective research labs. This semester, I am working with Chemical Engineering Professor, Dr. Ross Taylor, who is doing transformative research in the area of sour water systems. Previously, I was honored to be selected as one of two undergraduates to participate in Professor Mededovics cutting edge plasma and water purification research initiatives. Clarkson offers these kinds of incredible opportunities to those who want to work hard and get the most out of their education. I know that I am extremely privileged to attend a first rate engineering school and look forward to joining an innovative company full-time upon graduation in May 2017.
