Yinabely Martinez Carela
I graduated from Loyola Polytechnic Institute in Industrial Electricity in 2008, one of the most challenging technical high schools in Dominican Republic. I continued my Associates Degree in their University program in Industrial Engineering. While I was in college I got two certifications in Organizational Leadership and Continuous Improvement that included courses like Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Statistical Process Control, Finance for Non-Financial, Motivation and Communication, Team Work, Emotional Intelligence, Effective Meetings, Conflict Manage, and Human Relations just to name a few.
While in college I started working for ConvaTec, a prestigious manufacturing company of medical devices that helped me to increase my knowledge of how to manage people, train, and achieve business standards according to production schedules. The first position was Production Line Leader and after a year I got promoted to Production Coordinator managing around 150 people in different shifts. I did this position for two years and had the opportunity to work with an excellent team in different levels of the organization.
In 2014 I moved to United States and started working in a temporary job for Publix. I worked as Quality Assurance Inspector in their Deli Manufacturing plant for 5 months, when my time was up, I had the privilege to work for Dentsply International as a Quality Engineering Technician.
Currently, Im working on my own part time business and my Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering at Iowa State University.
