I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
I am passionate about software engineering for computer networks and systems with emphasis on Network Function Virtualization and Cloud Computing.
I worked with the Network Function Virtualization team at Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia Corporation). I used OpenStack to spawn virtual machines running the Alcatel-Lucent SR-OS on bare metal hypervisors that employed Intel's Haswell NUMA architecture. I worked extensively on various virtualization tools including Open vSwitch, KVM, QEMU, Libvirt and OpenStack components including Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Horizon and Glance. Prior to my internship at Alcatel-Lucent, I have worked as a software developer at Deloitte US India Consulting Pvt. Ltd and Larsen & Toubro.
This semester I have taken a course on Advanced Operating Systems and worked on projects involving the creation of a user-level thread package similar to Pthreads and implementing barriers to achieve synchronization.
With my industry experience as a Software Developer and a Software QA Intern, I believe I possess the required skills to perform and excel at any organization.
